What is a public adjuster?
A public adjuster, or public insurance adjuster, is a professional
insurance adjuster hired by the policyholder (a person or business) who
has suffered property damage that is covered by insurance.
National Public Adjusters, Inc. provides public adjusters that:
- Do not represent the insurance company, but rather act as
advocates for the insured
- Are involved in:
- reviewing
- preparing
- negotiating and
- settling the claim with the insurance company.
- Get their clients the best
possible settlements from the insurance companies as quickly as
possible.

When wouldn’t I need a Public Adjuster?
Sometimes a claim is too small to warrant the services of a public
adjuster. If you’re unsure, ask. A reputable public adjuster will let
you know free of charge whether it makes more sense for you to handle a
claim without assistance. At National Public Adjusters, Inc., our public
adjusters are here to answer your questions.

Why hire a public adjuster if I can handle the claim myself?
Many policyholders don’t realize that the burden of proving a claim is
on them. Before policyholders can get reimbursed for a covered claim,
they must provide their insurance company with detailed proof of the
damages. This can quickly become time-consuming and complicated and lead
to costly mistakes on the claim.
